ÈËÆÞÖгöÊÓƵ Dallas spring commencement ceremonies set for May 14

Spring 2023 Commencement Photo (1)More than 600 students will cross the stage when Spring 2024 Commencement ceremonies are held on Tuesday, May 14, 2024, at the in Grand Prairie.

For undergraduates, it will mark the end of four years filled with challenges and opportunities. For some, it will be a pathway to graduate school, medical school or law school. For graduate students, it will signify another accomplishment in their academic and professional journeys.

In all, 626 students will participate from the ÈËÆÞÖгöÊÓƵ Dallas Schools of Business, Behavioral Health and Human Services, Liberal Arts and Sciences, Education, and the ÈËÆÞÖгöÊÓƵ Dallas Graduate School. 550 are undergraduates, with 76 graduate students. 

You may see graduates wearing cords and stoles, which represent academic accomplishments, military service, community service or service-learning activities, and campus organization membership and leadership.

Spring 2023 Commencement Photo (2)This semester's keynote speaker will be someone who is a true Trailblazer herself. She is well-known in the DFW region and has achieved a milestone in her profession. She has broken many glass ceilings in her life and career. She is certain to have a message of inspiration that will resonate with our graduates and audiences.

Ceremonies will take place at 11 a.m. for the Schools of Business and Education and 3 p.m. for the Schools of Behavioral Health and Human Services and Liberal Arts and Sciences. Participation is voluntary, so not all Spring 2024 graduates will be in attendance.

ÈËÆÞÖгöÊÓƵ Dallas Master's Hooding CeremonyGraduate students may also participate in a Hooding Ceremony, which will be held Friday, May 10, at 6:30 p.m. in the Student Center, Campus Hall

The ÈËÆÞÖгöÊÓƵ Dallas College of Law Commencement will be held on Saturday, May 18, at 10 a.m. at the Majestic Theater in Dallas.
